We are at UCSF to learn and to teach in order to alleviate human suffering.  Now we are at war, and it is our role to learn about—and to teach about—the suffering involved.

What can we do? We have scheduled a TEACH-IN at UCSF. We invite ALL members of the UCSF Community and their friends. 

Please plan to participate in this important, interesting, and exciting event.  Cancel committees, meetings, lectures and classes so that we can join together that afternoon.

This symposium will focus on the impact on combatants, Iraqi citizens and the United States, featuring local, national and international speakers from the UCSF community and beyond, including:
