Driving Directions to UCSF Parnassus
San Francisco, CA 94143

From North Bay

1. From the Golden Gate Bridge, take the 19TH AVENUE exit (on right 1/4 mile after toll plaza) onto PARK PRESIDIO DRIVE.
2. Stay in the right lanes as you pass through GOLDEN GATE PARK onto 19TH AVENUE (no left turns allowed).
3. Turn RIGHT on KIRKHAM, RIGHT on 20TH AVENUE, and RIGHT (east) on JUDAH.
4. Follow JUDAH up the hill to UCSF and JUDAH becomes PARNASSUS at 5TH AVENUE.
5. Continue on PARNASSUS until you see UCSF at the top of the hill (see Parnassus Map).
6. Continue past 3rd Ave, watching for the Parking Garage entrance, located on your left side, just past the traffic signal/crosswalk, accessible by a left hand turn lane.
   

From South Bay

1. Take HIGHWAY 101 NORTH (Bayshore Freeway).
2. Follow the signs for "101 North/Golden Gate Bridge".
3. Stay on left lane & EXIT OCTAVIA BLVD./FELL STREET.
4. Turn LEFT on FELL STREET.
5. Get in the far right lane and turn LEFT on STANYAN STREET.
6. Turn RIGHT on PARNASSUS AVENUE (see Parnassus Map).
7. Continue past 3rd Ave, watching for the Parking Garage entrance, located on your left side, just past the traffic signal/crosswalk, accessible by a left hand turn lane.

From East Bay

1. From I-80 after crossing the Bay Bridge, stay in the second lane from the right.
2. Exit to the RIGHT on "101 NORTH/GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE".
3. Get in the LEFT lane and Exit "OCTAVIA BLVD./FELL STREET."
4. Turn LEFT on FELL STREET.
5. Get in the far right lane and turn LEFT on STANYAN STREET.
6. Turn RIGHT on PARNASSUS AVENUE (see Parnassus Map).
7. Proceed for about 2 blocks, passing Hillway Ave on your right, and then turning right into the Parking Garage entrance.

From the Peninsula

1. Take HIGHWAY 280 NORTH
2. Stay on the left lanes and take the GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE EXIT onto 19TH AVENUE.
3. Proceed in the right lanes and turn RIGHT (east) on JUDAH STREET.
4. Follow JUDAH up the hill to UCSF and JUDAH becomes PARNASSUS at 5TH AVENUE.
5. Continue on PARNASSUS until you see UCSF at the top of the hill (see Parnassus Map).
6. Continue past 3rd Ave, watching for the Parking Garage entrance, located on your left side, just past the traffic signal/crosswalk, accessible by a left hand turn lane.
